Ann was forever kind, caring, and enthusiastic about life--especially when she was dancing! How she loved to dance, which she told me lwhen I saw her for the last time at her mother's home this last summer. Margaret Daeuble is still alive...99 years old!--living alone with occasional help, and amazingly up to date on most everything. Ann's health was failing, but her laugh stayed the same, as did her wonder at what was to come next--another visit to El Paso?...an upcoming gathering with her children and grandchildren? another EPHS reunion? Ann and I intermitently kept up with each other through the years. Updating each other on our latest family news and reminiscing --yes, about El Paso High--always energized us both. Ann loved El Paso and all the memories made here, but when the time came that she needed more help, her sons, Drew and Alex, stepped in and took her into their homes, either in California or Arizona, until she passed. Our high school group will feel the void, but we will always keep her close as we continue to get together and remember the good times we shared. Ann, may you continue to dance....
